Ezra Sakkal advises high net-worth U.S. and foreign individuals, families, and closely held businesses on US-based and cross-border estate planning, wealth preservation, transaction structuring, and other tax matters. With over six years of experience in the international tax space, Ezra brings a deep understanding of tax-efficient structuring for inbound and outbound investments, as well as U.S. income and transfer tax considerations. Prior to joining MBJ Law PLLC, Ezra was a manager in EY’s International Corporate Tax Advisory group, where he focused on advising U.S. multinational corporations on their cross-border transactions and global tax planning strategies.
Ezra’s practice includes estate and gift tax minimization, trust administration, asset protection planning, transaction structuring, and helping clients comply with U.S. tax laws and related reporting obligations. Ezra also assists individuals navigating migration to and from the U.S., as well as expatriation matters.
Ezra earned a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he received the James L. Lewis Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Taxation.
