Matthew Riordan

Matthew Riordan focuses his practice on trust and estate litigation matters primarily in the New York State Surrogate’s Court, although he also regularly handles commercial and employment litigation in state and federal court. As a routine part of his practice, Matt handles will contests, construction proceedings, contested accountings, and other trust and estate litigation matters. He has also guided clients through a wide variety of commercial and employment disputes, from class actions to admiralty claims, in numerous state and federal courts. Matt’s advocacy experience covers all phases of litigation, including trials and appeals. Matt spent part of his career in Australia, where he served as General Counsel of Freelancer.com, an online talent marketplace.
